Carlos Laredo – en – Carlos Laredo

CARLOS LAREDO VERDEJO was born in Corunna (Galicia-Spain) in 1939.
He studied Philosophy and Law.
He is a member of the Madrid Bar Association and of the Association of Industrial Property Agents. He was Director of Communications for the company MICHELIN for Spain, Portugal, and the Latin American area.
In 1996 he retired to devote himself to literature, his great hobby. Since then, he has published an extensive body of work that includes traditional novels, historical novels, novels for young people, poetry, history, biography, short stories… He has received several awards and has been invited as a guest lecturer by the Cervantes Institutes in Brussels and Utrecht, the National Library and numerous round tables and literary circles.
Carlos Laredo is the author of the well-known detective novels «Corporal Holmes series», set on the “Costa de la Muerte”, in his native Galicia.
